BACKSTORY:
'Amanta' was originally painted on a clayboard using acrylic paints in a small studio by Brenda in 2020.
"I haven't created something in this style since 2006, when someone told me I was a "decorative artist" making things like this. At the time, I believed them but they were wrong. I was being expressive and pouring out my emotional state onto the board. Fast forward to present day and I'm happy to give into my emotions and share them with you, decorative or not. This is my art therapy. She is named 'Amanta', which means to be versatile, creative, and to express."--from the artist, Brenda Stanek
